The chilies Mace Foods team visited us on the 12th June 2021 where we had a farmers’ meeting at Tendwet AGC church and there after visited a demo plot near the church.
The manager also meet Berur Cooperative Management Committee at Berur offices. Farmers managed to ask many questions as possible including markets, types of chilies according to ecological zones, husbandry, pest control, harvesting, processing and collection procedures among others.
Wish to sincerely thank the Testai CBO also for planning a successful field trip which was very informative and practical. This crop will go a long way to assist small scale farmers for their regular incomes as the they wait for perennial crops. The visit solved all questions the famers were asking.
