Benchmarking Visit – Eunice Khaniri
Berur Cooperative was blessed to be visited by the wife of Senator George Khaniri (Vihiga County), Mrs. Eunice Khaniri. After a brief discussions with some farmers led by the Chairman at our offices, she made a farm visit.
She came visiting for benchmarking and facts finding mission on Avocado farming. She was impressed on how women have taken up Avocado farming in the county as she noted that more than 50% of Avocado farming is done by woman. She predicted that in the near future Avocado farming will produce women millionaires in the county.
She was also impressed by the nature of Avocado farming i.e organic farming. Eunice conveyed greetings from her husband and promised that in her next visit she will come with women from her county, Vihiga.
